This procedure will erase the password on a Cisco LDIR-416 LocalDirector 416.
Model: Cisco LDIR-416
Console Kit: Cisco Console Cable (Blue - Rollover Cable)
Note: The LDIR-416 requires that you boot from a Cisco password recovery diskette.
Step 1: Download UNLOCKLD.bin & rawrite.exe from Cisco.com
Step 2: With a formatted Floppy in the A: drive type rawrite from a command prompt and press enter.
Step 3: Type UNLOCKLD.bin for the source name and press enter.
Step 4: Type A: for the destination and press enter.
Step 5: Boot the local director with the floppy in the drive.
Step 6: Eject the floppy and reboot the local director.
